It’s time to celebrate the third WFO General Assembly. Climate change, value chain, food security, women and youth will be the main items on the agenda.

The WFO General Assembly will be held in Niigata, Japan on Aprile 15-18 2013. It 's finally time to celebrate the third WFO General Assembly.Food Security, Climate Change, Value Chain and Women and Youth will be the main topics of the sesisons to be held in Toki Messe Centre, the giant Convention Center of Niigata. Many experts and prominent professionals will gather in this occasion.

The meeting represents an important opportunity to discuss the main issues of the agricultural world, WFO activities of the past year in support of the world’s farmers, and viable solutions for global agriculture related challenges.. WFO contributes to global food security and safety by bringing together farmers’ organisations from around the world and strengthening their roles in value chains. WFO also encourages farmers to participate actively in the development of sustainable agricultural policies and thus be part of the solution to climate change.
