From November 21th to 23rd 2018, FAO Headquarters’ in Rome will host the “International Symposium on Agricultural Innovation for Family Farmers: Unlocking the potential of agricultural innovation to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals”.

About 400 participants are expected to attend. Participants in the meeting will be representatives of governments, intergovernmental organizations and of non-state actors, that is civil society organizations, producer organizations and cooperatives, private sector entities (including philanthropic foundations) and academia and research institutions.
The deadline for expression of interest in attending the event is 23.59 (Rome time) on August 31st 2018.
Please note that the total number of places for representatives of non-state actors is limited and only one representative per non-state actor (i.e. one per civil society organization; producer organization or cooperative; private sector entity or academic/research institution) will be considered.
