Last June, WFO announced two scholarships for graduate young farmers interested in attending the third edition of the Master of Law (LL.M.) in Food Law, organized by the LUISS School of Law in Rome.
At the beginning of this month the selected candidates, Meas Sovanthy from Cambodia e Kouadio Kouassi from Ivory Coast, moved to Rome for their new adventure.
WFO recognizes and promotes the importance of education and professional growth and development of young farmers and collaborates with higher education institutions, such as the LUISS University in Rome, to provide them with new learning opportunities.
According to the Agreement signed on October 2017, two young farmers from WFO Member Organizations can be enrolled in selected master courses for free, having the opportunity to share their own knowledge and experience with the LUISS students, whereas these are given the opportunity to get an internship at WFO, working in an international and dynamic environment.
