The network of associations bringing together CONAPAC, WFO Member Organisation from Democratic Republic of the Congo, with other partner structures, in this case CEDEN (Circle for the Défense of the Environment (CEDEN), ECC (Church of Christ in Congo), GTCRR (REDD Climate Working Group), called on the World Bank and the African Development Bank to “stop land grabbing.” In a joint statement, CONAPAC and its partners call on the Congolese Government to support family farming because “agricultural parks are not the solution to fight hunger and poverty of rural populations in the DRC”.
