FSS Webinar 2026 “Farmer cooperatives as catalysts for food system transformation”
As part of the Food Systems Solutions Webinars 2026 (FSS Webinars) series, the United Nations Food Systems Coordination Hub will host the webinar “Farmer cooperatives as catalysts for food system transformation” on 21 May 2026 from 14:00 to 15:30 CEST.
The session will explore the role of farmer cooperatives as key drivers of food systems transformation, highlighting their contributions to advancing equitable livelihoods, sustainable production practices, and resilient local economies across regions. The webinar will also focus on identifying policy and investment pathways to strengthen cooperative-led food systems solutions.
The World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO) will contribute a keynote presentation by Luisa Volpe, Advocacy, Policy and Partnerships Lead, on the crucial role that farmers’ cooperatives play in shaping international policies and advancing food systems transformation.
