Third International Agrobiodiversity Congress
From 20 to 22 May 2025, the Third International Agrobiodiversity Congress will take place in Kunming, China, bringing together experts, researchers, and specialists to shape the future of agrobiodiversity.
Under the overall theme “Agrobiodiversity for People and Planet“, the congress aims to provide a platform for the global community to exchange knowledge, innovations, practices, and technologies that support the sustainable use and conservation of agrobiodiversity, and to identify the global actions needed to advance these efforts.
The event is co-organised by the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
Representing the World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO), Board Member for the African Constituency, Gunsham Seeborun, will advocate for the vital role farmers play in protecting and sustainably managing agrobiodiversity.
