WFO Annual Meeting 2026
From 8 to 11 June 2026, the World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO), together with its member, the Kenya National Farmers’ Federation (KENAFF), will gather the global farming community in Nairobi, Kenya, for the WFO Annual Meeting. The High-level Opening Ceremony will be held on the morning of 8 June.
Each year, this flagship event attracts over 300 participants: farmer leaders from across the world, including young and women farmers, alongside policymakers, multilateral institutions, academics, scientists, private sector associations, civil society, and financial institutions.
More than a conference, the WFO Annual Meeting is a dynamic platform for dialogue, innovation, and collective action, where diverse voices come together to shape the future of sustainable, resilient, and inclusive agri-food systems.
The 2026 edition will place a strong emphasis on strengthening farmers’ organisations, driving investments, fostering innovation, and advancing digital infrastructure as key enablers of resilient and future-oriented agriculture. In addition, discussions will explore critical sub-themes such as ensuring social security for farming communities, promoting fair and sustainable land tenure and land use, and empowering youth and women as essential actors in global food systems.
