World Food Forum Flagship Event 2026
The 2026 flagship event of the World Food Forum (WFF) will take place from 8 to 16 October at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy, and online.
Under the theme “Innovate Today. Nourish Tomorrow,” the event will bring together farmers, young people, policymakers, scientists, innovators, investors and other stakeholders to advance action towards more sustainable agrifood systems.
Organised around three pillars — Global Youth Action, the FAO Science and Innovation Forum and the FAO Hand-in-Hand Initiative Investment Forum — the programme will feature high-level dialogues, consultations, innovation labs, pitching events, exhibitions and cultural showcases.
The flagship event will also include a series of special sessions, including the From Seeds to Foods Global Exhibition, the Rome Water Dialogue, World Food Day, and the Global-Hub on Indigenous Peoples’ Food Systems.
A delegation from the World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO) will participate in the event, bringing farmers’ perspectives and priorities into key discussions on the future of agrifood systems.
