SUMMARY:THE CLIMAKERS Regional Workshop – The Caribbean
DESCRIPTION:The first of the regional workshops of the Climakers will be held in Saint Kitts\, The Caribbean\, from August 14th to 16th\, 2019\, to collect\, discuss and validate solutions from the Caribbean. Among the objectives of the workshop is to create awareness of the concept of the Farmers Driven Climate Change Agenda\, gather best practices from the Farmers’ Organizations and establish a consultation with relevant stakeholders on the implementation of the Agenda. \nJointly organized by Agriculture Alliance of the Caribbean (AACARI)\, International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) and World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO)\, this three-day event will include several technical sessions led by the major development actors in the region and a field visit. \nThe detailed agenda will be circulated at a later stage and made available on the Climakers website at: https://www.theclimakers.org/regional-consultation/
