On October 21st, the WFO Secretary-General Arianna Giuliodori attended a panel discussion within the Plenary Meeting of the Livestock Environmental Assessment and Performance (LEAP) Partnership at FAO headquarters, sharing the experience of the WFO – conceived initiative “Climakers” as an effective multi–stakeholder alliance.
The event brought together representatives from member states, private sector, NGOs, civil society, academia and research, to explore how to address trade-offs between productivity, climate change mitigation and food security.
“Working through the entire value chain in a joint bottom-up approach, including all the actors, not only the institutions, is the only way to get effective solutions for a sustainable future that everyone can benefit from”, pointed out Arianna Giuliodori delivering her speech.
