On February 19th for the second consecutive year, the WFO International Secretariat welcomed in its premises in Rome, 24 young farmers all coming from different parts of Germany.

Already, students of Faculty of Agriculture Science, they are taking part in the 2020 Top Kurs programme, managed by the WFO partner Andreas Hermes Akademie (AHA).

The meeting exposed the attendees to the reality of what WFO is, what it does, and how it works, with a particular focus on what WFO is doing to support young farmers at the global level.

In conclusion, during an exciting and fruitful questions and answers session, young farmers had the chance of highlighting their needs and expectations when it comes to the future of agriculture.

WFO recognises and promotes the importance of education and professional growth and development of young farmers and is pleased to collaborate with higher education institutions, such as AHA, to provide them with forward-looking and constructive exchange opportunities.
