For the fourth time this year, a delegation of young farmers from the World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO) gathers in Berlin to join the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA 2020).

At the invitation of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), 20 young farmers from all over the world meet over three days to discuss on agri-food policy issues, share their visions and exchange their experiences. This year’s theme is “Food for all! Trade for Secure, Diverse and Sustainable Nutrition“.

Furthermore, the young farmers work out on a joint declaration on the GFFA’s subject to be presented on Saturday, January 18th, at the Berlin Agriculture Ministers’ Conference, which represents the world’s largest meeting of agriculture ministers and high-level representatives of international organisations.

The young farmers present a huge goldmine that can provide the solution to the main challenges of the 21st century, and the GFFA is an excellent venue to make their voices heard on challenges and opportunities of worldwide agriculture!
