The 2027 Annual Meeting of the World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO) will take place in Georgia, in June 2027, in collaboration with the Georgian Farmers’ Association (GFA), a valued WFO Member Organisation. Situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Georgia combines a rich agricultural heritage with a rapidly developing farming sector.

“We would be honoured to welcome the WFO community to Georgia and contribute to the continued success of the General Assembly,” said Nino Zambakhidze, Chairwoman, Georgian Farmers’ Association (GFA).

Each year, the WFO Annual Meeting brings together leaders of farmers’ organisations and agricultural cooperatives from all regions of the world, policymakers, multilateral institutions, academics, scientists, private-sector associations, civil society, and financial institutions, along with host-country stakeholders.

The event serves as a global, farmer-led platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action. It provides a space where farmers engage directly with partners to discuss priorities, share perspectives, and contribute to shaping a more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive agri-food sector.
