Now in its fourth edition, the Youth Agribusiness Tour is the initiative annually organized by the Young Farmers’ Federation of Uganda (UNYFA) in order to expose and offer on-farm learning experience to young farmers and young people who want to just know more about agriculture.
Under the theme “Be Bold for Agricultural Change. Champions keep it playing until they get it right”, over 20 young farmers from across Uganda were involved, from June 24th to 28th, in a 5 days tour of the farms present in the Central and Eastern regions of Uganda.
The tour is a great occasion of peer-to-peer learning and experience sharing, as well as capacity building, and why not, exploring culture and having fun like campfire, football, visiting Sipi Falls and Jinja Source of the Nile River.
