On January 27th, Theo De Jager, in his capacity of President of the World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO), joined in New Zealand the annual Farmers’ Study Tour organized by the Global Research Alliance (GRA) to investigate agriculture’s potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases brings countries together to find ways to grow more food without increasing greenhouse gas emissions. It was launched in December 2009 and now has 55-member countries from all regions of the world. For its part, WFO has been a partner of the Alliance since 2014.
