On February 23, the WFO International Secretariat welcomed 25 young farmers from Germany to its premises in Rome. All of them are participants in the 2024 Top Kurs programme, an initiative facilitated by the WFO partner Andreas Hermes Akademie (AHA).
During this meeting, our Secretary General, Dr Andrea Porro and Giulia De Castro, our Youth Focal Point, provided the young farmers with an immersive experience of the mission, strategy, and actions of WFO. The presentation focused on WFO initiatives for youth empowerment, such as the Gymnasium Capacity Building Programme and the WFO Young platform.
WFO is delighted to collaborate with educational institutions like AHA, fostering forward-looking and constructive exchanges that contribute to developing the next generations in agriculture.
